1. Set up Furniture Sourcing Department in China ( Shanghai ) ; provide the service for relative divisions of Dorel Group, like Ameriwood ,Cosco , DHP .... Before sourcing dept. established, this company did the business or import the goods throught the agent Co., it has never imported directly.
2. Establish the vendor base ; research new factory for relative divisions, including solid wood , MDF w/ wood veneer , particle board w/ wood veneer , MDF , particle board w/paper , PVC veneer .... All vendors produce the finished goods , most of them are R-T-A furniture, some of them are folding furniture, and some of them are case goods .
3. Research the Component factory. Until now, Ameriwood is a RTA furniture manufactory in States and still has 3 wood ( paper lamination ) and 1 futon factories in running , so they need the more competitive component suppliers, likes door frame , hardware..., for cost reduction and business extension.
4. Manage sales presentation in China ( Shenzhen ) and HK. Divisions, like Ameriwood , Cosco, would invite customers to have the presentation in Asia. This will save a lot of cost, like sample delivery fees, hotel rent fees… Besides that, we have an advantage in region. We can revise the sample quickly if we found any changes needed before buyer(s) review.
5. Plan the customer visit schedule. We made the full plan before customer visit, including the airport pick up , hotel booking , tickets purchasing ,car arranement , visit schedule coordinating .
6. Have training course for all Dorel china employees and in different departments, including quality inspection, quality assurance, Engineer proceeding and package completed.
7. DI ( Direct Import ) program procedure control. As Dorel deal with lots of retailer stores in States (Wal-mart , Target , K-mart , Sears , Staples, Office-depot , Office max , Lowes ,Big Lots , Best Buy , Circue City , RCA , Samsung , Rite Aid , Bed Bath and Beyond ), we need proceed the DI program , including factory audit ,production testing , package approval, logistic control, shipping document .Cheap Nike shoes

9. Work with Design studio before sending the drawing to factory, as well as make the modification before sending the sample to customer or presentation, Ameriwood did has a strong design team, some of designers came from Bush , Sauder … .
10. Make sure the first cost available and reasonable before passing to customers. Normally we did not get involved in the cost break-down, if the price has been already accepted by customers. However, if there is a need for the purpose of cost reduction, we will recommend the material suppliers to our vendors.
11. Create the price analysis list based on latest marketing information for all materials every season, including solid wood / MDF /particle board whatever it is imported or domestic, as well as metal / aluminium /cast iron /plastic ,…
12. Set up the web-site system for new product development to handle the quotation , sample lead time , tracking no. and project monthly report
13. Set up the web-site system for PO follow-up, on time delivery rating , shipping document control , payment term tracking...

14. Plan the interior budget for next 6 months, and the goals and target for next coming year
15. Build the internal audit, build the SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for each division, including Sourcing dept, Quality control, Engineer dept…Also, every 6-month makes a periodical review to find out the defect and get the solution.
